Beautiful White Duvet Covers

I would just love to make a duvet cover for our next apartment.  The color white reminds me of things that are light, fresh, clean, and for some reason it reminds me of a beach house - not that we are going to have a beach house.  But we are going to have a Florida apartment, within driving distance to the beach.  So why not have a duvet cover that reminds me of a beach house?

Courtney from Project Pretty made this beautiful duvet cover.  I love it!  It is so cute with the colored pillows too.  She didn't say exactly how she did it, but she said that she'd share more later, so I hope that means a tutorial!

My thoughts about wanting to make something like this started when I saw this beautiful quilt in the Utah Valley home show last month.  What I like most about it is the texture.  But I want the light fluffiness of a duvet cover so I think I'll combine the two.
My sister Megan sent me this great tutorial for pillows from Kojo Designs.  That would be super cute too to make a textured pillow to match the duvet cover.  Except I'll need a ruffler foot for my sewing machine.  But I actually have been wanting to get one anyways because there are so many things with ruffles that I'd like to make!
